If both of you are struggling to make a place in search engine results by fighting against the dominating internet marketer then it may inspire you to help each other. The problem you may face is that you may not be able to find a blog that suits your need.

The last method of link building is targeted link building. One needs to target a long tailed keyword phrase to fetch attention of like minded people to his/her website. For example: one may have an anti-credit card site so he/she would use the keyword phrase: Why Credit Cards should be Illegal. Now Jane does not like credit cards but does not have an anti-credit card site. She does have a social site and she may post an update about her disapproval of credit cards and add a link to the anti-credit card website. Now since the target keyword phrase is not a buying one so it will not be dominated by internet marketers. If this keyword does not yield searches then one must keep adding link for keywords targeted to like minded people. Once the critical mass is hit you will have the snowballing effect and there will be no need of link building.
